Metal Tantalum Series Products

Tantalum (Ta) has high corrosion resistance. It does not react with hydrochloric acid, concentrated nitric acid and aqua regia under both cold and hot conditions. Tantalum can be used as a substitute for stainless steel in the production of various inorganic acids, and its service life can be tens of times longer than that of stainless steel. In addition, tantalum can take the place of platinum in chemical, electronic and electrical industries, which greatly reduces the cost.

NB (Nb) is a refractory rare metal, and it is gray steel, and has excellent properties such as high melting point (Nb 2467 ℃), high boiling point (Nb 4740 ℃), high strength, fatigue resistance, deformation resistance, corrosion resistance, heat conduction, superconductivity, monopole conductivity and gas absorption. It was also from the niobium - Tantalum series that chemists discovered the two elements, niobium and tantalum, in the early 19th century. Niobium has many important applications because of its advantages of corrosion resistance, good cold working performance and good electrical properties of oxide film.
